Camwhoring at Changi Airport
We had a fun time cam whoring at Changi Airport on Wednesday after our trip to a korean restaurant, Parkway Parade, Old Changi Hospital and Changi Beach. We took quite alot of photos at the airport, but I will only be uploading part of it.

International Friendship Day Outing For 5

Today is a tiring but fun day. I shall post the rest of our cam whoring photos taken at the airport on my next post. Why I name today as International Friendship day for the 5 of us? Mahjong Day at Tampines
It been a long time since I get to go out for the whole day. The day starts at Changi Village for lunch and we drove to downtown east for bowling and lastly, mahjong at my friend's house. I went home $7 poorer after the mahjong game. But, I am not the biggest loser. After the game, we(minus the biggest loser) went to eat at a 茶餐厅 which is located at a Tampines community centre. At first glance, the restaurant is quite poorly renovated. However, the food there is pretty good.  Ji Yong, the one who brought us there.

What is on my menu today?
I am sure most of you know the answer to my question from the previous post. Welcome to Ndcai Bistro Menu
Salad Chicken in a basket Steak Germany Pork Knuckles Mutton Stew Fish n Chips Shark Fin
Waitress: Welcome to Ndcai Bistro. What would you like to have for today dinner? Customer: Erm. I shall have a salad, Steak and a bowl of Shark Fin soup. Waitress: Sir, we are currently not serving Steak due to the recent mad cow disease and Shark Fin is not available today. We are supporting an environmental group by not serving Shark Fin. Customer: Okay. Then, can i have a Chicken in a basket for this lady and Mutton Stew instead? Waitress: Sorry sir, Chicken dishes are not available too due to Bird Flu. Mutton Stew is not served anymore as our Chef Ndcai don't eat mutton. Customer: WHAT!!! What about pork knuckles? Waitress: Pork knuckles is temporary removed from our menu since yesterday. Many people are afraid of getting the Swine Flu that start surfacing in various countries. Customer: !!! So may i know what do your restaurant serve today? Waitress: O. We are only serving Fish And Chips as no virus strain has been found on fishes that will transmit to human yet. And we are serving Salad too. However, it is not pesticide free. Customer: *Storm out of the door.

Food is all I need
I been eating non stop today when i went out. Japanese cuisine follows by Teochew cuisine. I shall let the photos do the talking, lazy to type.
I never took photos of the 7 plates of sushi we ordered.   This only costs SGD 1 and it includes miso soup, green tea and a cheese cake.  I had guava in a Jap restaurant?  Now you see it.  Now you don't. It is guava sorbet with real guava as the covering. Really oishi.  Skippy peanut butter will have to make way for this peanut butter.  Because, it is made on the spot with just peanuts. The best peanut butter i had ever taste is bought from Amsterdam(Not from those that stand behind the windows and you can name a price).  I bought something today. Guess what is it.  Hint: It is from Japan.  Thats all for today. I will reveal the answer in my next post. Labels: cuisine, food, japanese, teochew

Uniqlo and Ikea visit on a hot day
 It is a really hot day at home today, so i went to visit the new shopping centre at tampines with a friend of mine. And i bought 2 new t-shirts from uniqlo.
오늘 아주 더워요 그래서 낮어 Tampines에 또 Ikea에 갔어요 그리고 친구 만났어요. 그럼 Uniqlo에서 2개 옷이 샀어요. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ.
멋있어요?  You not only have to remove your clothes or shorts when in the changing room, you have to remove your shoes before going into the changing room too. Luckily, i wore slippers today, easier to remove.
 Green and white is my favourite combination of colours. 
 Something interesting about the paper bag is that, you can choose which design of paper bag you want from 4 different designs. And i chose sonic. hahaha.

HOT HOT HOT
It is a hot hot week. I mean the weather. How i wish the weather during January is here again. Let's take a look at the temperature over in Singapore now.
Photos below are screenshots of my phone's weather/날씨 applications.
Highest predicted temperature today is 32 Degree Celsius and lowest 26. BUT the temperature now is 34 Degree Celsius! Thats why, weather forecast is never accurate.  Lets take a look at the temperature now over at some other major cities.
Shanghai/上海. Wow, it is a great time to be at Shanghai now and walk along the Bund, enjoying the scenary or shopping at Nanjing Road.
 Seoul/서울.Hmmm. Not a very ideal weather, walking around in a big jacket is no fun. But, still can go shopping at 동대문 또 남대문(Dongdaemun and Namdaemun).  Tokyo.Same good weather as Shanghai  Taipei/臺北.Should go Taipei now, went to Taipei at the wrong time last year which is during the typhoon period. Been blown by strong wind is an experience that you cannot find in Singapore.  Brisbane.Still planning to go there during late June. How i wish i am over there instead of withstanding the hot weather in Singapore now. Jocelyn, if you see this, please make arrangement soon. If any of you know of any return air ticket that is cheaper than SGD 798, Please inform me. Thanks.  Because of the hot weather this few weeks, quite alot of people are getting sick, so please hydrate yourself periodically especially those who are still taking their exams. Hai Gao, Siew Mai or Me?
Firstly, i have learn how to spell a new word today (I shall talk about it later).
Dim Sum, anyone? I had dim sum on sunday for my lunch and it is kind of impromptu. Because, we decided to fly to HongKong last minute for a short break over the weekend. I been to the restaurant thrice and their dim sum is always good and value for money. 50% off for Monday to Saturday and 40% off for Sunday and Public Holiday. Seems that there are discounts everyday, kind of a sales gimmick. Without further ado, let your eyes feast on the dim sum photos.
